Hello everyone.
My name is Andrew and I joined Hebe Highland First Aid in February 2020 as a First Aider, and now also deliver First Aid Training for them.
I have worked in the NHS all of my career since I completed my Diploma in Podiatric Medicine in 1987. I started working as a podiatrist for NHS Grampian then moved to NHS Highland in 1996.
After 25 years of podiatry I decided to change careers and became an ambulance technician with the Scottish Ambulance Service in 2012.
I started my First Aid service with the British Red Cross in 1990 and became a trainer/assessor in 1999. I was also a Basic Life Suppot trainer for NHS Highland. I have always enjoyed passing skills on to people which they may find useful in life.
You might see me in my Hi-Viz jacket helping out at Ross County matches or other events throughout the year in my First Aid role with Hebe.
We are a friendly bunch and if you want to learn new skills and help people, come along and join us at Hebe Highland First Aid.
