Lesley (Owner of Hebe Highland First Aid) HHFA.  

I have been a Nurse for over 30 years and qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) since 2007. 

I worked as a staff nurse in medical admissions and the MHDU (Medical High Dependency Unit) for many years prior to qualifying as an ANP.  As an ANP I worked  throughout the acute Medical and surgical divisions in Raigmore hospital. 

I left the hospital environment for a time, working in clinical research for 4 years.  Following this,  I took some time out of NHSH (NHS Highland) to work with a private company as a Nurse Consultant on an innovative Scottish Government program.  

I returned to NHSH in 2021 where I went back to working as an ANP working in emergency surgical admissions , in 2022 I moved to working as role as Clinical educator in the medical division at Raigmore Hospital until January 2025.

I now work as an ANP in the community – in a wonderful rotational role, which takes me to both community hospitals, working within the wards, Out of Hours, Minor injuries and GP practices. 

Hebe Highland First Aid (HHFA) has been part of my life since 2016, as I was keen to maintain my acute clinical skills whilst working within research and then with the Scottish Government,  I’m delighted and pleasantly surprised to see how much Hebe has grown and continues to do so.  

I feel very privileged to work with a wonderful team of ANP’s, Nurses, Paramedics and Ambulance technicians, all of whom still work on the front line. A great team of First Aiders, all of whom make it possible for HHFA to deliver Event cover and First Aid Training throughout the Highlands and beyond. We have built a wonderful team which people seem to enjoy being part of and working alongside.

I am overwhelmed by the feedback we get and delighted that we continue to maintain our high standards of professionalism at every event and  training session.
